About us
-BRAND STORY-
It all begins with a single kimono, a journey through time, woven into being.
RIKASHIOYA.BOUTIQUE is a brand where vintage kimono and unique textiles from around the world converge, each piece whispering its own tale.
For designer Rika Shioya, the allure of kimono, a symbol of Japanese heritage, has been a constant presence since childhood.
Driven by a passion to reimagine its beauty for the modern age, she embarked on a journey to create one-of-a-kind garments and bags, each telling its own story through the magic of vintage kimono.
Imagine the feeling of silk against your skin, a cherished garment passed down through generations. Picture the vibrant hues of a hidden lining, the delicate shimmer of gold thread, the interplay of bold colors that defy the passage of time.
Even now, their brilliance remains—vibrant, powerful, and exquisitely delicate. Each piece holds the whispers of the artisan who crafted it, the echoes of those who wore it, a legacy of artistry and emotion.
RIKASHIOYA.BOUTIQUE bridges these stories to the future, carrying their beauty into the present. This is where tradition meets modern, East meets West.
With every stitch, we invite you to experience the joy, the quiet confidence, the thrill of wearing a piece that is truly your own.
Discover a story waiting just for you.
